Gloria Jean is a nurse/bluegrass musician/author and song-writer from Northern Ontario, Canada. She enjoys writing stories about rural life, and has penned a long-running humor/nostalgia column in local newspapers. Gloria spends her spare time with family, fishing, camping, skiing, and playing bluegrass music at festivals with her band, the Algoma Wildflowers. One day, she hopes to retire from nursing and write full time in a cabin by the river... any river.
